We would like to extend a Good Ole' South Georgia Howdy to everyone and welcome
you to the webpage of the 6th Brigade, Georgia Division, Army of Tennessee,
Sons of Confederate Veterans! We are proud of our Confederate heritage and of our
beloved Southland! The 6th Brigade has eight hard working camps at this time,
and is growing yearly. The 6th Brigade is made up of the following counties: Appling,
Bryan, Chatham, Effingham, Evans, Jeff Davis, Montgomery, Liberty, Long,
Tattnall, Toombs, Wayne, and Wheeler Counties.

The Brigade is lead by a Brigade Commander and each of the eight camps are lead by Camp
Commanders. To learn more about the 6th Brigade click on the links below to navigate around this
webpage. We hope you enjoy your stay here and check back often as these pages are constantly
being updated. As you look around always remember the Confederate soldier and the families he left
behind. Remember the sacrifices that all made in the struggle for independence. Nothing is truly gone
until it is forgotten and I challenge each of you to research and learn all that you can about the War
Between the States to learn the real truth...
" A nation which does not remember what it was yesterday does not know where it is today...The reputation of an individual is of minor importance to the opinion posterity may form of the motives which governed the South in their late struggle for the maintenance of the principles of the Constitution. I hope therefore, a true history will be written, and justice will be done them" Gen. Robert E. Lee
Flags Over Georgia Program
The 6th Brigade put the first REAL Georgia flag up in the "Flags Over Georgia" program on the Southbound side of I-95 in McIntosh County. We do this in HONOR of all Confederate Veterans!
